For homes and estates

Your trees, looked after quietly.

For owners, and for the people who manage their properties: one contact who knows the garden, a crew that turns up when it says it will, and trees cared for over the long term, from sculptured prunning and maangement, view pruning to protecting them through a renovation.

Sound familiar?

  • The harbour view slowly disappearing behind the trees.
  • Not knowing what council lets you prune or remove.
  • A neighbour's tree that's become a problem.
  • Trades who leave the garden worse than they found it.
  • Loss of solar access
  • Loss of privacy
  • Constant pest and disease
  • Overhanging canopies impacting on building
  • Lack of maintainence for tree canopies
  • Safety concerns from fire hazards, structural integrity
  • Root impact on structures
  • Lossof

How we handle it

  • One point of contact, start to finish. For the owner or the estate manager, whoever looks after the property.
  • Sculptured pruning, View pruning and canopy thinning, to the Australian pruning standard, so the trees stay healthy.
  • Council applications when the tree is protected.
  • Trees protected through renovations and rebuilds and landscaping, from the first plans to the final clean-up.
  • A clean site. Our crew leaves the garden tidy because we clean as we go.
  • Ongoing tree management and care, so the trees stay healthy year after year.
  • Rejuvenation of sick and dying trees and scrubs.
  • Soil drenching and spraying of trees
  • Improving soil cultures for active root growth
  • Installation / repair of irrigation to suit seasons and soil type

Questions homeowners ask

Do I need council approval to prune or remove my tree?

Often, yes, depending on the tree's size and species, and each council has its own rules. We'll check for you and prepare the application if one is needed.

My neighbour's tree overhangs or blocks my view. What can I do?

Start by talking to your neighbour. If that doesn't work, NSW has a court process for some tree disputes. William Home has given expert evidence in the Land and Environment Court and can assess the trees independently.

Will you clean up afterwards?

Yes. A clean site is part of the job, not an extra.
